Behind the scenes of ‘As Long As We’re Together’ with ALWZ SNNY

ALWZ SNNY is generating quite the reputation for his heavy synths, insane guitar melodies and that unique fusion of country and dance music. His latest release ‘As Long As We’re Together’ has been a sure hit among fans and new listeners for its Avicii inspired vibe and incredible good feels. We caught up with ALWZ SNNY to chat more about the release itself and find out what’s on the horizon for the up and coming DJ and Producer.

What inspired you to create “As Long As We’re Together”?
I started writing this song when I was in Stockholm. I was there for one night, and being a huge Avicii fan, I thought it would be really fun to create a song in the country he was from. I subliminally was trying to channel that type of vibe.

How does this compare to some of your other releases?
I really love the guitar in this song. It really stands out compared to other songs.

Who is behind the mystery vocal on the release?
She’s an anonymous singer!

What would you say is your favourite part of the tune?
I love the middle break. That part really gives me an Avicii vibe. It sounds like country, dance, and folk.

Why you have you decided to merge Country with EDM? Do you think this will be the next thing to take over the scene?
I do not know if it will take over the scene, but think more and more producers/DJs will begin doing it.  You are seeing more collabs popping up. The two genres sound beautiful together.

How has the initial reaction been?
Amazing! Aside from the video and streams doing well, I am getting a lot of nice comments and messages regarding the release.

Who would you like to see supporting the release?
This is random, but I think it would be the coolest thing to see Lost Frequencies supporting it. I feel the like the vocals are the kind of vocals he would use.
If you could sum up “As Long As We’re Together” in 3 words, what would they be?

Happy, Fun, Love

Do you have any more releases on the horizon?
I do! I have a remix of Lexnour’s song “Let You Down” coming out October 30th. Then I have a song with Krysta Youngs coming out November 20th called “Wasted”.

Finally, where can we grab a copy?
Anywhere you stream music, but I would recommend watching the video on YouTube. That way you can get the visual!
